Biography

Anna Brady is an Irish mezzo-soprano performing with leading opera companies and festivals across Ireland and Europe. Recent and upcoming engagements include Ernestina (cover) in Rossini’s L’equivoco stravagante with Wexford Festival Opera 2026; soloist appearances in the Taste of Wexford 76th Festival concerts at the National Opera House, Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin and in London; mezzo soloist in Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle; and mezzo soloist in Scarlatti’s Dixit Dominus with Dublin City Choral Union. In November 2025 she recorded the role of Circe in Circe with the Evlana Ensemble, conducted by multiple Grammy nominated Elaine Kelly, and will presents a recital series with pianist Rebecca Warren.

Her operatic highlights include Liba in Wallace’s Lurline with the National Symphony Orchestra, appearances alongside soprano Celine Byrne with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and contemporary work such as Andrew Synnott’s world premiere of The 47th Saturday, Opera Collective Ireland’s Irish premiere of Jonathan Dove’s Flight, and Anna Semple’s The Next Station is Green Park. She has also performed at the Abbey Theatre and with Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Anna holds a Masters in Vocal Studies from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and was awarded the Emerging Artist Bursary at the inaugural Wexford Factory Programme. A multiple recipient of Arts Council of Ireland awards, she is a founding member of Ito Kollektiv and Artistic Director of Spideog Productions, where she develops innovative recital and opera projects to reach new audiences.
